Arabic Language Teaching Program

Arabic Language for Adults (aged fifteen and above)

Arabic between your hands (العربية بين يديك)

Arabic in your hands for adults:
This program contains three books within six levels, each level contains 8 units with two tests (interim and final).

NB:
In the first week the levels of students will be determined: those who know the letters and those who do not, provided that the letters will be reviewed in the first week.

Arabic Program Level A1

Lessons and Session Times for Arabic Program Level A1 (during the weekdays) will be between the following times:

Lesson Times:

  • From 07:30 PM to 09:00 PM

Lesson Days:

  • Two days a week (Monday and Thursday) or (Tuesday and Friday)
  • Three days a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday)

NB.

  • If the required number of students in the group is not met within the registration period, we will be forced to reschedule the appointment times after consultation with the student.
  • The student must pay the prepaid instalment according to what is shown in the Break-Down table (shown below).

Arabic Program Level A1

Lessons and Session Times for Arabic Program Level A1 (during the weekends) will be between the following times:

Lesson Times:

  • Modal (A): From 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM    OR   From 06:00 PM to 07:30 PM 
  • Modal (B): From 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM    OR   From 06:00 PM to 08:30 PM

Lesson Days:

  • Weekends: (Saturday and Sunday)

NB.

  • If the required number of students in the group is not met within the registration period, we will be forced to reschedule the appointment times after consultation with the student.
  • The student must pay the prepaid instalment according to what is shown in the Break-Down table (shown below).

Arabic Program Level A1 Description and Desired Outcomes

Topics Covered:

– Greetings and introductions 

– Introducing oneself and family members

– Enquiring about housing                  

– Daily life                   

– Food and drink

– Prayer

Desired Outcomes:

Comprehension and Communication:
Students will understand and use very simple words and expressions to meet their basic needs.

Self-Introduction and Enquiries:
Students will be able to introduce themselves and others, and ask questions related to their basic needs.

Basic Language Skills:
Students will develop basic skills in reading, writing, listening, and speaking appropriate to their level.

 

Desired Results: we expect students to:

  1. Enhance Arabic Language and Eloquence:
    – Develop the ability to recite Quranic verses with clarity and fluency.
  2. Improve Reading Skills:
    – Read words and sentences accurately, focusing on correct spelling.
  3. Memorize Key Surahs:
    – Commit to memory Surah Al-Fatihah, Ayat Al-Kursi, and several short surahs.
  4. Master Tajweed Basics:
    – Correctly pronounce the origins and descriptions of letters in preparation for learning Tajweed.
  5. Strengthen Spiritual Connection:
    – Draw closer to Almighty Allah by reciting verses during prayers and in daily life.
  6. Learn and Apply Islamic Practices:
    – Understand and practice the rules of ablution and prayer.

The Integrated Program: (Arabic and the Holy Quran) Level A1

Lessons and Session Times for The Integrated Program: (Arabic and the Holy Quran) Level A1 (during the weekdays) will be between the following times:

Lesson Times:

  • From 07:30 PM to 10:00 PM

Lesson Days:

  • Model (A): Two days a week (Monday and Thursday) or (Tuesday and Friday)
  • Model (B): Three days a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday)

The Integrated Program: (Arabic and the Holy Quran) Level A1 Description and Desired Outcomes

The Holy Quran Program Description:
 
Students will be able to memorize Surah Al-Fatihah, Ayat Al-Kursi, and short surahs
  from Annas to Adhuha, with proper control of sounds and articulation.


 Desired results:
we expect students to:

  • enhance Arabic language and eloquence by being able to recite Qur’anic verses.
  • read words and sentences with spelling.
  • memorize Surah Al-Fatihah, Ayat Al-Kursi, and some short surahs.
  • correct the letter’s origination and descriptions in preparation to teach the students Tajweed.
  • come closer to Almighty Allah by reciting verses in prayers and elsewhere.
  • learn the rules of ablution, prayer and to apply them.
