Description and content of the Holy Quran subject

Topics Covered

  • Memorizing Surat Al-Fatihah, Ayat Al-Kursi, and the short Surahs from " An-Nas to
    Al-layl    " with proper pronunciation of letters (Place of Articulation).
  • Learning how to perform ablution and prayer theoretically and practically in a manner appropriate to this age group.

Desired Outcomes: We expect the student to

1. Enhance Arabic Language and Eloquence

Improve their Arabic language skills and eloquence by reciting Quranic verses.

2. Memorize Key Quranic Passages

Memorize Surat Al-Fatihah, Ayat Al-Kursi, and several short Surahs through oral instruction from a teacher.

3. Master Pronunciation

Learn the correct articulation points and manners of Arabic sounds to prepare for studying Tajweed.

4. Strengthen Spiritual Connection

Draw closer to Allah Almighty by reciting memorised verses during prayers and at other times.

5. Learn and Apply Islamic Practices

Understand and practice the rules of Ablution and Prayer.

Arabic Language Program (Level One) Description and Desired Outcomes

Topics Covered

  • Greetings and introductions
  • Learning about Arabic letters and their shapes
  • Numbers (1-10)
  • Basic vocabulary

Desired Outcomes: By the end of this level, we expect the student to:

1. Develop Familiarity with Arabic

Gain a basic understanding of the Arabic language.

2. Cultivate a Love for Arabic

Feel encouraged and motivated to speak Arabic.

3. Recognize Arabic Letters

Learn the Arabic alphabet, including the ability to distinguish between similar letters.

4. Count in Arabic

Count from one to ten in both masculine and feminine forms.

5. Enhance Listening Skills

Improve listening comprehension through exposure to simple sentences, structures, and vocabulary

NB:

1.The student is subject to an interim and final test at each level.

2.The success rate is determined to move to the next level, and if the student does not obtain the required rate, he/she takes a supplementary exam.

3. The student must pay the prepaid instalment according to what is shown in the Break-Down table (shown below).

4. If the required number of students in the group is not met within the registration period, we will be forced to reschedule the appointment times after consultation with the student.

Lessons and Session Times for Integrated Program: (Arabic Language and the Holy Quran) & Arabic Language Program (Level One) (during the weekends) will be between the following times: From 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM OR 06:00 PM to 07:30 PM

Lessons and Session Times for Integrated Program: (Arabic Language and the Holy Quran) & The Holy Quran Program for Teens: (during the weekdays) will be between the following times: From 04:00 PM to 04:40 PM OR 05:00 PM to 05:40 PM
